Eye candy supreme and bred to perform!
Ophelia is an elegant and bold mare with great potential for sport. She will start under saddle in the summer of 2013.
Oracle's sire is Ocordo, a showjumping stallion by Olympic Concorde that stood at October Hill. Ocordo was shown to international Grand Prix Levels by Erin Davis. Â Not only did his sire Concorde go to the Olympics, his dam Katosca (Joost) is a full sister Osta Carpet's Carrera (aka Carrera La Silla), winner of the Aachen Grand Prix in 1993. Ocordo's mother line has the golden cross of Joost and Abgar xx, found in so many successful Dutch show jumping horses.
Ophelia's dam is Argentina, a top producing Hanoverian mare by Argentan. In Hannover, Argentina scored 9.5 on her free jumping and completed a successful mare test. Her sire is Argentan, who is also the sire of Argentinus, Oldenburg's Sire of the Century. Argentan himself was declared Hannover's Stallion of the Year in 1994 for his incredible supply of international show jumpers and inspiring mares.
Further in her pedigree is found the great Thoroughbred stallion Waidmannsdank, one of the best refinement sires ever used in Hannover, found also in the stallions Akzent I & II and Goldstern.
