Description

Mezcalero stood at October Hill Farm in Texas before his retirement from breeding.  With rider Frederico Fernandez, Mezcalero represented Mexico in numerous events in Europe, Canada and Mexico, qualifying for both the 1997 Rome WEG and the 1998 Pan American Games. Most impressively, Mezcalero has produced numerous successful international level show jumpers, including Apache and Mississippi La Silla.

The dam of this foal is a retired and successful high Amateur Jumper. Known for her speed and careful style, Ravenna, by Ramiro's Son, is a perfect cross with Mezcalero's amazing scope and powerful jump.  This mare is large framed and strong.  A terrific prospect for the rider who wants to go fast and clear.
