Coolio has been to several shows up to 1.0m level and higher. His potential for high level sport is apparent, as his pedigree would predict.

Coolio OHS is by October Hill's Churchill, ridden to $25,000+ Grand Prix wins and high placings by owner Erin Davis.

Churchill is by Carano is a full brother to the great stallions Cassini I and Cassini II and is one of Denmark's most significant and popular jumping stallions, with a tremendous number of offspring competing at national and international levels. He led the DWB index for four years in a row with a score of more than 190, and received "Stallion of the Year" honors in 2004 for the success of gold medal Elite Mare Cirvinia Skovvang, and Young Horse Championship winner Cappucino D.

Coolio's dam Uphorea is from the number one ranked showjumping family, stamm 776. This family has been prolifically successful in sport and has produced dozens of approved stallions including Acorado I & II, Ramiro, Lucky Boy, Lordanos, and Calvados I & II. Uphorea's sire Quite Capitol, is by Quidam de Revel from the full sister of Capitol I. Though now used solely for breeding, Quite Capitol was 8^th in the German Young Horse Championships at age 5, and then finished 6^th the following year, after winning all the qualifying classes leading up to these finishes.

Further in the mare's pedigree are the stallions Ramiro and the foundation sire Landgraf I, both found in the core of traditional Holsteiner breeding.
