Proof of the value of Throughbreds in sporthorse production!
The value of the stallion Coconut Grove is proven through this accomplished daughter, producer of many of October Hill's very best young horses.
Coconut Grove was shown to great international success by German Camargo of Colombia, and is the one of the world's top Thoroughbred stallions. After a career in which he qualified for the Olympics, competed at World Cup events, and placed in the American Invitational, he retired for breeding to become one of the most widely acclaimed outcross stallions for warmblood breeding in recent times.
Uwita's dam Lawitta is by the incomparable Cassini I, a stallion whose lineage is coveted in all of the sporthorse world. Cassini I, sire of October Hill's own Cascani, won the 1994 Federal German Championships with Bo Kristofferson, and later won numerous Nations Cups, the World Cup, and more with rider Franke Sloothaak. Wherever Cassini is seen in a pedigree, there is value and potential.
