Elsa Peretti has been shown up to the 1.20m level as well as in the hunter ring.

Elsa is by the Calido I son Chaleon, that stands at Crooked Willow Farm in Colorado. Chaleon had a career in both the hunter and jumper rings and has produced many hunters and prospects in North America. His sire Calido became the standout sire in the jumping world at the 2004 Bundeschampionate, siring the winner of the 5 year old jumping championship, Coster, and the Reserve Champion, Clintwood, and Celine making it through the final. Today Calido I is one of the most important sires worldwide. The Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing saw Calido I offspring California with Taizo Sugitani, Cayak with Eiken Sato and Nobless M competing.

Elsa's mother, Treasury Bay, showed to many top 12 National rankings in the Amateur Owner Hunters under the show name Ex's N' Oh's in the late 1990's. Ex's N' Oh's competed at the Madison Square Garden Horse Show in 1999. Her sire Treasury Bay was by the great runner Secretariat.
